~ if you’re anything like I am, you likely didn’t prepare for Halloween at all. while I’m not a huge dress-up kind of person, i do like to decorate. having left everything to the last minute though, i didn’t have much selection to choose from to decorate with so that left me with the only reasonable solution: DIY it.
~ anytime i try to DIY, i gotta keep it simple but cute enough. arm me with a can of spray paint and I’m a happy camper. i’ll spray paint just about anything i can get my hands on. it’s quick, easy, and makes and impact. i managed to find some fun glitter at the dollar store and boom, a super cute Halloween DIY that doesn’t need any actual skills at all!
1. spray paint color(s) of your choosing (i used gold and white)
2. various pumpkin sizes (i could only find small ones)
3. glitter (dollar store ones work perfectly)
~ in a well ventilated area, wearing gloves, spray paint your pumpkins completely with your chosen color.
~ allow it to dry just a little bit. in order for the glitter to adhere properly, you need it still be a little wet but not fully.
~ sprinkle your glitter however you desire.
~ i chose to mix the black and silver for a cool metallic effect on one pumpkin, white spray with black glitter on another and then left the last one all gold.
~ a quick, easy and very last minute Halloween DIY that’ll impress all your trick or treaters and guests.
Happy Halloween Everyone!
